My first week of not having any classes flew by. I forgot it was Friday! Unfortunately, I get into that mode of not knowing what day it is pretty fast. That one thing that got me through the week was the Mary Undoer of Knots Novena. I know I used that as my thing last week, but this week I really got to dive into the novena and see some results with it.
I had my weekly check-in with my doctor earlier this week, and I had been paranoid all week. My blood pressure started to drop last week and was freaking out all week that everything was gonna go south (of course, every ache and pain made me think I was dying). I had been praying the novena all week (tomorrow is the last day) for healing, especially during the day of the appointment. I like to say it was the novena, but my blood pressure was a little higher, so I was relieved. My blood pressure and weight went up and I had a good appointment, so it was a good day.
Sometimes it’s hard for me to believe in prayers for healing to the point where I won’t pray for it because I don’t believe it can happen. Even if you don’t see any obvious results, it can’t hurt to try. I’ve been trying to get better at the whole “praying for healing” thing, and it’s been up and down over the past year. I’m still praying that this novena will help bring me healing physically, but also spiritually.
I hope you all had a great week and also hope that those who stuck with the novena have seen some of the “knots” in their lives start to become undone.
